Save Our Cemetaries (Day of Service – January 19)
Save Our Cemeteries, Inc., founded in 1974, is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the historic cemeteries of Louisiana, and to fostering a public appreciation for the architectural and cultural value of these cemeteries.

Keep Louisiana cemeteries alive and kicking by spending the day on the grounds of the historic Carrolton (Green Street) Cemetery. Volunteers will be cleaning up and landscaping the cemetery in an effort to keep this wonderful site attractive to visitors and surrounding residents.

What should I wear/bring?:Volunteers are required to wear closed toe shoes and are advised to wear sunscreen and a hat.
