Mentor Recruting Event and Workshop (Day of Service – January 19)
In recognition to the Day of Service and the importance of giving back to the community; Crystal Francis (Towson University Graduate Student) will be hosting a mentor recruiting workshop for local mentor partnerships and programs in need of mentors.

The workshop “Mentoring 101” will inform those interested in how to become a successful mentor. The purpose is to provide capable and dedicated mentor to programs serving the Baltimore, MD community. The event is open to the public with interest.

Director of Training, Maryland Mentoring Partnership

NOTE*****The workshop will be held on Sat. Feb 7, 2009 from 1:30 to 4:30PM . Light refreshment will be served.

Directions: From Beltway (I-695) Towson : Take Exit 26 (York Road, South) and go about 3/4 mile to the Towson Roundabout. Exit the Roundabout continuing on York Road another 1/4 mile to Chesapeake Avenue. Turn left onto Chesapeake Avenue and go to the parking garage behind the library ($1 to park). There is a pedestrian bridge directly from the third floor of the garage to the library.
