Help Recently Resettled Refugees Navigate the American Employment System (Day of Service – January 19)
Join forces with the List Project to Resettle Iraqi Allies, CAMBA, Intersections International, and WATCH-NYC for an afternoon job training workshop for recently resettled refugees in the New York City Area.

During this one-day service project, you will join together with professional job development counselors from CAMBA and more than a dozen volunteers to help recently arrived refugees and immigrants build new beginnings in our City and move ahead in their journey towards finding meaningful employment.

From 12-4pm, at the Intersections International office at 274 5th Avenue in Manhattan, volunteers are needed to conduct one-on-one resume critiques, mock job interviews, and professional networking sessions with participants to help them strengthen their job search skills and learn how to transition professional experiences and communication styles to an American audience.

All volunteers will be provided with training materials and interview guidelines prior to the event.

Host: Jennifer Kouvant
Location:
