Caucus Mobilization Meeting & Practice Caucus

It's that time we've all been waiting for...
Many of our members signed up to host house parties in their precincts. It's time to show what we've learned over the past few months about Obama's issues and hit the streets, winning our precincts over for Barack. We've set a deadline of Thanksgiving to achieve this goal.
In preparation we're meeting to organize and mobilize our efforts. Activists, Steve and Sharlene Tolman will be on hand to share their success with hosting precinct house parties. To make it easy for you, we're passing out a sample party invitation and party check list for your convenience.
Our wonderful member and "Obama Camp" graduate, Simone Simpson will walk us through a "practice" caucus. She's prepared to answer all your questions on how the January 19th caucus works and why it is so IMPERATIVE that we get all of our supporters to caucus.
We're opening up the first part of our meeting to all Obama supporters interested in learning about these two key action items.
Our wonderful campaign staff and regional coordinators will be on hand to help identify your precinct and put you in touch with other supporters in your precinct that you can work with. In addition, they will be sharing the overall goals of the precinct canvass with us.
Our goal on August 17th is to determine specific canvass dates for each of our member precincts, support those canvass dates as a group and invite your neighbors to your house party (if you intend to host one). We'll discuss our role as a "good will ambassador" in each of our precincts.
Please come with ideas on how we can best organize transportation for those supporters not able to drive to caucus. We want to make sure to identify each one and make sure they get to caucus. Please BRING your ideas to the meeting!
